How does Napoleon use his power to control the animals?

Like he is more intelligent than the other animals he tell them that everything he says is good, and the animals believe in him because they trust in what he says. Other way to persuade the animals is with propaganda, thing that Napoleon uses a lot when he say the animals that these is the “Animal Farm” and that what they are doing is just for the animals. Napoleon always makes the animals think what he want them to think. He tell the animals that they are going in the correct way and that everything they do is just for them benefit, that all the things they do is just for them, for what they need and for what they want. Napoleon has the control because he inculcates the animals fear, the dogs help Napoleon because the dogs are just like his army, Napoleon is like Hitler, when there are lots of people who were obsessed with him, and lots of people who don’t, and they are like repressed by the army. This is how everything works.

Napoleon lies to the animals, he tells them that the amendment hasn’t change, that what he says is good, is the best for everyone. For example, Napoleon always tell Boxer, that he is like his bodyguard, and that he has to keep going on with him. Boxer is the one who works harder, the dogs are the army of Napoleon, the kens and the rest of the animals just do what Napoleon says without refusing. This is How his world works, but not for much time…

Boxer and the magical kick

Right from the start Boxer and the animals were planning how to show Mr. Jones who rules. The animals planned all the fight, their positions and what does each animal will do. Here we will come with our star Mr. Boxer.

How do you fell with all this adrenaline and power that you have in your hooves? "Well, this entire plan wasn’t really a good plan for me, but I got the moment, my moment and I just did it. First I fell really well, because all my friends were telling me I am the best and things like that, but then I felt bad and I just wanted to turn back in time and don’t kill Mr. Jones. I don’t appreciate him a lot but I know he will be always with us.”

Now we will have an interview with our undercover agent Ms. Sally McMollekdon. Ms. Sally, when you were flying above the fight, did you saw how Boxer takes his magical kick?

“Yes, I was flying above the fight and watching everything from the sky. I was really focused on the fight, when I saw Boxer running in the direction of Mr. Jones, and the he took his kick, that was awesome. That was the first time, in all my years working for this company that I have seen a kick like that, this will make history, how can a little group of animals can take control of a farm and kill the farmer. And that wasn’t just a simple farmer, he was Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones, I know how he works, I know every step he took for have all his merits, and I know that now he is just some irrelevant human.”

Animal Farm 2013

Here I’m going to compare and contrast the Egypt coup d-état with the book, Animal Farm. See how do the characters are similar and which roll takes every character.

 In Egypt, on 3 July 2013, the general Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi removed the president Mohamed Morsi and suspended the Egyptian constitution, the people rebelled against him. This represents Old Major removed Mr. Jones from the power, from the head of group; and suspended the human constitution, we can say, or the human needs and wants, and create the animals constitution, which on head are Napoleon and Snowball, the animals rebelled against Mr. Jones and made what they want, be free.

The Egypt people protested against Morsi, on July 30, when it was suppose that was the first year which Morsi was in the power. In this book, there are some animal who protest against this new reform and some others that no, this little group of animal, represents the Egypt people who is protesting.

This revolution turned into crisis, they don’t know how to organize for make a better place, where everyone can live happy. This thing hasn’t happened in “Animal Farm” until this moment, but I think it will do, because there always have to be one that gets everything he wants.

"In what ways does Major use rhetoric in his speech and what impact does this have on the animals?"

The rhetoric questions help us to reflex and think about things, think about what the other told us and what they wanted to tell us with just a simple question.

what major wanted to make in every animal in the farm is that they reflect of what they want to make, if they want to keep under the hands of Mr. Jones or they want to be free and choose for themselves. “Now, comrades, what is the nature of this life of ours?” p.3

So rhetoric questions helped him to make the other animals think about what they want in their lifes.

The animals answered the question in their minds and reflect about what major told them by the time he was talking.

The rhetoric questions help the others to introduce more the readers or the listeners to what the person which is talking or writing wants to tell the others.

Old major used rhetoric questions to support his ideas and get to what the other animals wanted to listen. “Is it not crystal clear, then, comrades, that all the evils of this life of ours spring from the tyranny of human beings?” p.5. Old Major wanted the animals to rebel against Mr. Jones, and what will be better than a rhetorical question to make them think about what they want.

In the first chapter of “Animal Farm” Old Major gave a speech, which says that the animals have to rebel against the humans, and he used rhetorical questions for support and make his ideas more structured.

Well, drugs are a conflict for people, them distroy thier lifes because they are addicted, sometimes people become thieves or something worse, so we have to stop this, ilegaly drugs are a conflic for goverment, so the president of the united states have got an idea, he devotes billions of dollars for each year to make the sellers of drugs reduce their quantity of produce nad stop the drugs from entering, so there will be less drugs, and to high the price, so then people will have to use some legals drugs to stop their adiction.
